1. Who Can Enter to Perform?
ANYONE WHO SIGNS UP (in person between 6:OO-7:30 p.m.) the Wednesday of, and pays the $5.00 admin fee, AND signs the “Original Artist” affidavit. (Performers must be 18+ OR ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.)
2. Can I use the “ORIGI ALL STAR SHOWCASE” as an audition to perform as a paid “all original” artist, at the F.K.M?
WHY, YES! YOU MAY! We’re creating an “ORIGInal” scene here!
3. Who will participate?
YOU… or any patron who is present and signs up to participate!
4. What’s the best strategy for winning?
Who knows?? BUUUUUUUT… If I was going for the fun of “WINNING” I would…
---tell all my friends, fans, family, etc. to show up (anytime on WEDNESDAY after 5pm to party party with me and support my “art”!
---“promise” to use the winning money to buy them dinner “IF I WIN”
---WRITE & PERFORM THE BEST ORIGINAL MATERIAL THAT ANYONE HAS EVE HEARD! WOOHOOOOO! DUH!!
ANY (ACOUSTIC) TALENT IS WELCOME *see rules and performance guidelines.
ALL AGES, (acoustic) Styles, Genres, Genders, and Cultures, are WELCOME!
Singers! Players! Poets! Clowns! Jugglers! Ventriloquists! (NO MIMES! …well ok, maybe ONE mime : ) Magicians! ETC…
ANYONE CAN WIN BY CREATING AND GROWING THE ALL ORIGINAL SCENE and WINNING THE HEARTS/VOTES OF OUR PATRON AUDIENCE
EVERY (PRESENT) COMMUNITY MEMBER may vote purchasing Food and Drinks and receiving vote tickets
EVERY “Origi” PERFORMER gets: 1 free beverage, 1 voting ticket, AAAAND…WILL RECEIVE 1 additional ticket for additional food purchases
EARN YOUR CHANCE TO BE AN “ORIGI” ALL-STAR! Or Even a FEATURED PERFORMER AT THE F.K.M!
SOUND LIKE A PRO ON OUR PROFESSIONAL P.A. EQUIPMENT! Every time slot performer may use two (2) vocal mics and two (2) 1//4” jacks inputs from our Professional P.A. System.
